EAST

Terms of Service

Last updated November 4, 2026

The short version

This website is the portfolio and client area of Jacob East, a designer and AI consultant based in Baltimore, Maryland. Browsing the site is free. Sending a project request is an inquiry, not a contract. Work only starts when both sides agree to it in writing.

Accounts

You can create an account with an email and password, or with Google. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate information when you sign up and when you send a project request.

Accounts are for clients and prospective clients. Jacob East can suspend or remove an account that is misused, for example to spam, probe the site, or impersonate someone else.

Project requests

The Launch a Project form starts a conversation. It does not book work, hold a spot, or lock in a price or a date. Quotes, timelines, and deliverables are set in a separate written agreement for each project.

Status labels in your account area (New request, In review, In progress, Live) are progress updates for convenience. If a status here ever differs from a written agreement, the written agreement wins.

The work and ownership

Everything on this site, the design, text, and portfolio pieces, belongs to Jacob East or the clients who commissioned it, and is shown to demonstrate past work. Do not copy or reuse it without permission.

Ownership of work made for a client, and the license to use it, are covered by that project's written agreement, not by these terms.

Acceptable use

Availability and liability

The site is provided as is. It may change, break, or go offline for maintenance without notice. Project data shown in your account is a courtesy copy; keep your own records of anything important.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jacob East is not liable for indirect or incidental losses connected to using this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and law

These terms can be updated. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
